Remco Vlaanderen worked as an artist, sound designer, interaction designer, freelance writer, curator of media art and web editor. He has written for numerous publications about media art, design and video game culture. Since 2005, he has been the senior editor of SubmarineChannel.com – an online production and distribution platform for filmmakers and interactive artists. Remco was editor-in-chief of the artist monograph Modern Living – The Graphic Universe of Han Hoogerbrugge, published in 2008 by SubmarineChannel and BIS Publishers. Remco is also a freelance web editor for the soon-to-be-launched new website of Dutch design magazine Items. He lives and works in Amsterdam.
