Xin: Icograda World Design Congress 2009 Beijing is quickly approaching. The remaining 17 days before the Congress are sure to fly by.  This is the last opportunity for delegates from around the world to register for and attend the International Conference and the Education Conference, taking place from 24-30 October 2009.

The 1st Beijing Design Week will be running as part of the Icograda World Design Congress. Beijing Design Week will include 13 exciting events and 25 engaging exhibitions from around the world.

The Icograda World Design Congress 2009 promises to be a unique opportunity for delegates to experience China and learn more about how China sees design as critical to transitioning beyond a manufacturing economy.

The Icograda General Assembly 23 will take place from 24-25 October 2009, as the first two days of Xin: Icograda World Design Congress 2009. This will be an historic occasion, marking the first time in Icograda's almost 50 year history that the General Assembly has been held in China. More than 120 attendees from 33 countries and regions have confirmed their particpation in the the Icograda General Assembly 23, all wanting to experience China and learn more about how China sees design as critical to transitioning from a manufacturing economy. This will be the largest gathering at an Icograda General Assembly in the organisation's history.

China will host the World on 24 October, UN Nations Day. AA symbolic occasion and an opportunity for all designers to join together in making a difference in these challenging times. Our hosts have demonstrated the high value that design and international collaboration plays in China. The programme promises a unique opportunity for Icogtrada Members to build new and lasting relationships.
