Staged in three Scenes – Beijing, China, and the World – the exhibition explores the relationship between design, technology and economic development in the past, present and future, focusing on the achievement and trajectory of China’s emerging design industry, and demonstrating the latest trends in global design.
Scene One, Beijing, demonstrates the strategic role design plays in national and entrepreneurial innovation in Beijing’s four priority development fields including equipment manufacturing, consumer electronics, medical devices, and urban industry.
Scene Two, China, exhibits the Red Star Award winning products, displaying the latest achievement of industrial design in China, through the most prestigious national award winners for industrial design in China.
Scene Three showcases the German Red Dot Award and Korean Good Design Award winners, showing the highest standard in global industrial design and tracking the trends of future development.
